Customer Service Representative Position Resposibilities
A CSR is a customer-facing employee who receives calls, manages complaints, and answers customer requests. A Customer Service Rep is a professional and courteous individual who:
• Solves customer problems or creates necessary support requests
• Helps achieve customer goals and service timelines and status updates
• Sends customer communications or customer proposals based on customer expectations
• Locates and obtains proper components in coordination with technical staff and customer needs
• Maintains and supports products and services in the office, via phone and web/e-mail communication or other web portals
• Solves or facilitates customers needs directly or with the help of more technical IT or support staff and coordinates communication between such parties
• Performs other related customer service tasks such as receiving customer equipment, setting customer service expectations and maintaining proper contact in a timely manner
